http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=69096 I also ran into someone who was using the precursor to the SRT's, the Eagle Optics Ranger Platinum Class. She played with mine(SRT) for a few minutes and was extremely impressed, declaring them to be a clear improvement in optical quality over her Ranger PC's.
http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=51718 I've had their 6 x 32 Platinum's for about 3 years. When I got them I compared them for several days with my 15 year old Leica 7 x 42 Trinovids and they equaled or bettered them. They were just as bright in twilight situations and it was hard to tell the difference in magnification under most circumstances. I take them fishing with me. Their 3 foot close focus came in handy in ID'ing mayflies and caddis flies as they floated by.
The Epoch is also the closest-focusing binocular we looked at―a mere three feet. It's actually closer than you can comfortably converge on through the barrels of the binocular. But if you close one eye, you can zero in on the scales of a butterfly that has landed on your sock.
Optically, the Eternas, in their new phase coated incarnation, 光学的に、このEternaは新しくフェーズコーティングされているために、 are certainly competitive with other moderately priced waterproof roofs. 間違いなくかなり高価な防水ダハ双眼鏡に負けていない。 The view is crisp and sharp and bright 見え方は、粒立ちと切れがあり明るく、 enough to satisfy even the most demanding field birder. 最もうるさい野鳥観察家でも十分満足させるものだ。 The limitations of the glass この双眼鏡の限界は、 are only apparent in direct comparison with glasses costing over twice as much. 倍以上の価格の双眼鏡と直に見比べないぎり、分かるものではない。 http://www.betterviewdesired.com/BVD10O1/index.html
